Bet Settler Help
New Version Notes
The idea of this new version is that different stakes can be selected for different bet types and the total amount for all the bets will be displayed.
Previously to do say £2 Singles and a £1 Each Way Double on the same two selections, the settler had to be used twice and the individual bet returns manually added together.
Now to do £2 Singles and £1 Each Way Double select:
Selections = 2
Enter the two Prices/Status etc as before
'Bet Type 1' = Singles, 'Bet Stake 1' = £2, 'Bet 1 Win or E/W' = Win
'Bet Type 2' = Double(s), 'Bet Stake 2' = £1, 'Bet 1 Win or E/W' = Each Way
Start by selecting your number of selections, up to and including 8 are allowed.
Always select prices starting from the top row and work down, i.e. for 3 prices use rows Price 1, Price 2
and Price 3. Only prices in the drop down box are available.
No odds on prices are available in the drop down boxes. To select on odds-on price, e.g. 4/7, select 7/4 from
the relevant price box and tick the box to the right.
Won - by default this is set to Won, i.e. the selection finished first.
Placed - if the selection was placed, i.e. did not win but was within the race's allowable place positions for a payout,
change this to 'Placed'. This is only applicable if an Each Way bet is required.
Non Runner - if the selection was a Non Runner change this to 'Non Runner'
Lost - if the selection Lost change this to 'Lost'
Dead Heat First - if the selection Dead Heated for lst Place change this to 'Dead Heat Win' (If each way Place bets are settled at full odds)
Dead Heat Place - if the selection Dead Heated for the Place position, change this to 'Dead Heat Place'
If an Each Way bet is required the relevant place proportions should be selected.
This could be 1/5, 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 or AW (All on to win)
Rule 4 Deduction
If there is a Rule 4 Deduction applied to your selection select the appropriate amount from the
drop down box, e.g. 10 for a 10p Rule 4.
Bet Type 1 to Bet Type 4
You must select a bet type for Bet Type 1. If you have different stakes for several bet types you can select bet types for Bet Types 2 to 4.
For example 4 Selections could be £5 Singles, £2 Doubles, £1 Treble & a £1 Each Way Fourfold.
Only Bet Types in the drop down box are available.
Bet Stake 1 to Bet Stake 4
You must enter a Stake in the Bet Stake 1. The default setting is 1.00 for one unit. Use 0.5 for half a unit
or 0.25 for a quarter of a unit, etc. If you have selected more than one Bet Type you must also enter a stake per Bet Type.
Win or Each Way
Select either Win or Each Way. If Each Way is selected you must also choose the appropriate 'Status'
for each selection, this could be 'Won' or 'Placed' and the 'Place' proportion e.g. 1/5
This button should be selected to display a breakdown of the returns for the bet.
The Win part is detailed first and then the Place part (if Each Way is selected)
Bonuses and Consolations
None are applied due to the fact that bookies different amounts.
Some do double SP one winner in a Lucky 15 but some offer treble SP.
There are also differing percentage add-ons for all correct Yankees, Lucky 15's, 31's, 63's Lucky 31's. Make
sure you and your bookmaker don't both forget to add on any extras!
It was reported that the return is wrong for each way SSA bets and I agree. Bets affected
are when just one selection is placed (not a winner). The return is 1 stake too much per placed horse in a SSA with an
unplaced horse. Win bets or each way bets with all winners are OK.
This error will affect SSA, Round Robins, Super Flags, Heinz Flags, Super Heinz Flags & Goliath Flags.
The error will be fixed when time allows.
The settler has been tested as much as possible but I accept no responsibility for any errors.
If you think you have found an error please let me know
